Jessica Aubin, MS CCC-SLP
CEO | Speech-Language Pathologist
Jessica is a 2005 Speech Language Pathology Graduate from the University of Washington. Her work experience covers a broad range of settings from in-patient rehabilitation, long-term care, and Outpatient services to the public school setting. She started the Aubin Aphasia Speech and Language Center LLC in 2010 to help improve needed access to services on Bainbridge Island and also acquired a local tutoring service, Island Educational Services in 2022.
Apart from being a Washington State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist she holds multiple specialty certifications including certifications from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Vital Stimulation NMES certification for dysphagia, competence with the Claudia Allen Dementia Scales, Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT), SPEAKOUT! Provider, and PROMPT training for Apraxia of Speech.
“I believe in making a functional difference in people’s lives. Initially, I did this by working directly with clients to help them achieve their life goals. Now, I find that I can help more people by supporting a variety of service providers to do whatever is needed to to train, staff, connect, and deliver the best services possible.
I am honored to also be a Board Member of Vitalize Kitsap, an organization supporting young adults with disabilities all over Kitsap County. This is yet another extension of my goal to help clients and families obtain the best quality of life possible.”
Lindsey Erickson, MS, CCC-SLP
Clinical Director | Speech-Language Pathologist | teacher
Lindsey Erickson is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of voice, speech, language, cognition, and swallowing disorders. As Clinical Director, she leads with a commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care—designing protocols that balance quality, efficiency, and meaningful outcomes for patients and their families.
A dedicated mentor, Lindsey also supervises graduate student interns, helping them build confidence and skill through hands-on learning and evidence-based practice. Her professional background includes work at the Center for Inclusive Design and Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver, where she focused on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and at Idaho Falls Community Hospital, where she was instrumental in establishing the Speech-Language Pathology department and developing clinical protocols that improved patient care delivery.
Lindsey earned her M.S. in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Idaho State University and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences and Elementary Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is an ASHA-certified clinician and a certified SPEAK OUT! Provider for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
When she’s not steering the ship at work, Lindsey enjoys gardening, yoga, outdoor adventures and spending time with her family.
Isabella Cozzarin, MS CCC-SLP (SPEEch language pathologist)
Isabella Cozzarin, CCC-SLP, earned her master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College and her bachelor's degree in Public Health Studies from Elon University. She has extensive experience providing speech and language therapy across various settings, including schools, private practice, and rehabilitation hospitals.
Isabella currently serves as a teletherapist for Aubin Aphasia Center. Previously, she provided individualized and group therapy to children with complex communication needs, including severe expressive and receptive language disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and Gestalt Language Processors.
Her clinical background also includes working with individuals with acquired neurodivergence in a rehabilitation hospital, where she assessed and treated patients with neurological conditions involving dysphagia, aphasia, and other cognitive-communication disorders. She is passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and family education to ensure continuity of care across settings.
Dedicated to empowering her clients, Isabella tailors therapy to their unique strengths and needs. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, playing tennis, and spending time with her family.
Oliver Petraitis, MS CF-SLP (speech language pathologist)
Oliver Petraitis is a recent graduate of the Communication Sciences and Disorders program at Western Washington University and has been with AASLC since April 2024. Prior to becoming an SLP, his background was in applied foreign languages, sociolinguistics, ESL, and foreign language instruction, in which he has 10+ years of combined experience. He has also worked in many other fields including the music industry, as a mechanic, as a localization specialist for Nike, and has held teaching positions at various universities in the US and Germany.
He holds degrees in English literature, German, French, psychology, as well as two Masters in Sociolinguistics and Communication Disorders.
He provides services at AASLC’s Poulsbo office house the North Kitsap Medical Suite as well as via telehealth.
He spend his free time riding mountain bikes, writing music, keeping old cars running, and shooting billiards.
Melissa katz, MS CCC-SLP (speech language pathologist)
Melissa earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania and then received her master's degree in speech-language pathology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. Most recently, she was a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist at Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, primarily on the inpatient stroke and brain injury unit where she worked with patients who had complex neurological conditions involving dysphagia, aphasia, and other cognitive-communication disorders. She also helped co-initiate the music therapy department and lead the Cancer Care Committee. She has a passion for advocating for her clients while also supporting their families. Melissa is a SPEAKOUT! Provider. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the beach.
Annika Chrusciel, MA CF-SLP (speech language pathologist)
Annika is proud to have achieved both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Speech Pathology & Audiology from Calvin University (Grand Rapids, MI). Originally hailing from Geneva, Illinois, she is overjoyed to be newly relocated to the PNW to continue refining how she best serves adult and pediatric populations as a multifaceted SLP.
Through her direct work with individuals of all ages and their care teams, Annika has developed a compassionate understanding of the profound impact changed cognition, communication, swallowing, voice, and neurodegeneration can inflict. She delights in walking alongside her patients to understand stories rather than merely manage symptoms, striving to improve quality of life for continued life participation.
When not in the clinic, Annika enjoys drinking coffee, engaging with the performing arts, and finding a good deal while shopping!
Calli Hilvitz, M.S., CCC-SLP (Speech Language Pathologist)
Calli Hilvitz is a Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about helping individuals find their voice and regain confidence in communication. She earned her Master’s degree in Medical Speech-Language Pathology and Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Spanish from Western Washington University.
Calli has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and skilled nursing facilities. She enjoys collaborating with patients, families, and care teams to create therapy plans that are functional, supportive, and tailored to each person’s goals.
Calli is especially dedicated to providing inclusive and culturally responsive care, ensuring every client feels heard, empowered, and supported throughout their therapy journey.
Outside of the clinic, Calli enjoys rainy days, reading, camping and spending time with her partner and their two cats and dog.
Caitlin Ward, MS Ed. CCC-SLP (speech language pathologist)
Caitlin Ward is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of adult communication and swallowing disorders. She earned her Master’s degree from the College of St. Rose and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
Prior to joining the Aubin Aphasia Center, Caitlin served as the sole Speech-Language Pathologist at an outpatient otolaryngology (ENT) clinic.
There, she worked with adults facing communication, voice, upper airway, and swallowing difficulties related to aging, neurological conditions, head and neck cancer, and anatomical changes. Her diverse clinical background includes experience in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home health settings.
Caitlin has a special interest in voice rehabilitation, vocal cord dysfunction, head and neck cancer, gender-affirming voice care, and neurodegenerative conditions. She utilizes a flexible, patient-centered approach, collaborating with individuals to empower them and tailor treatment to their specific goals and needs.
In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys reading, camping, cooking, traveling, and listening to live music.
Kate Racioppi MS CCC-SLP (speech language pathologist)
Kate Racioppi is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience supporting individuals across the lifespan. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Delaware and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Seton Hall University.
Kate has a clinical background working with the adult population in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. In these settings, she provided care to individuals in short-term rehabilitation, long-term residential care, memory care units, and outpatient services following discharge. Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals with receptive and expressive language disorders, cognitive-communication disorders, dysphagia, and voice disorders, with an emphasis on enhancing independence, and quality of life.
She is committed to a person centered and functional approach to therapy, collaborating closely with clients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans that are meaningful and aligned with each client’s goals and daily life.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys exploring the outdoors, sharing new adventures with friends, and spending quality time with family.

Melissa Molello, PCC (Patient Care Coordinator) | Human Resources Manager
Melissa is the Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) and Human Resources Manager, supporting both clients and clinicians with care, organization, and clear communication. With a degree in Supply Chain Management, she brings a thoughtful, systems-oriented approach to keeping the practice running smoothly.
Melissa is passionate about creating a welcoming experience for every client and a supportive environment for the team. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors and exploring with her German Shepherd.
Flain Kim (Front Desk)
Flain has a Bachelor of Arts from Saint Vincent’s College in Communication. He has been working in the communications and client services field since 2007 and loves helping people in any of the multiple languages that he speaks.
Born and raised in the Phillipines, Flain lives on a little island with his wife and teenage children. In his spare time, he loves to go to festivals and spend time with his family.
Nicolas MoscarelLa (Scheduling Specialist)
Nicolas is a bilingual spanish/english customer serivce specialist. When he is not working or taking care of his family, you may find him at the kick boxing gym! Ask him for workout tips, he loves sharing that.
Nicolas is lovely to talk with on the phone and enjoys helping find solutions to problems.
